Andrew Butte is one of the principal pilots at HeliShot. Andrew got started in aviation at age 13 spending 4 hours per day learning everything he needed for his A&P; to include doping wings and turbine overhaul. At age 17 he was to take his A&P exam, but the cocky youth decided he’d rather fly than wrench. Andrew tried to enlist as a aircraft mechanic but he was too young for the Air Force recruiter and the Army recruiter was busy plugging shortages in the 75D personnel field. A year after joining the service Andrew was selected for Officer Candidate School for the Finance Field and upon his graduation learned he had been accepted to Warrant Officer Flight Training. Andrew declined his commission and at age 19 went off to become an Army Aviator. Mr. Butte is available for contract work throughout the globe and his PMC resume is attached below in PDF format.
